Dad was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He worked hard his whole life and still talked about his City Council days many years after retirement. Both Dad and Mom enjoyed their summer adventures in their beloved trailer for many years. Dad was a hands-on grandfather known to give out too many snacks and cheat at cards. He never missed any concerts, loved watching his granddaughters perform with the St. Pat’s Dancers and was as proud as he could be with report cards and looked forward to any time spent with his grandkids.
Dad was an avid sports fan. A true Maple Leafs supporter and loved seeing the Blue Jays in person. He was also a huge Team Gushue Curling fan, even asking how they were doing the morning he passed.
Special thanks to the amazing care dad received over the years by Dr. Quigley, Dr. Russell, Dr. Ahmad, Dr. Essaji and the Palliative Care Team N.P. Susan White, P.T. Susan Coffey and Dr. Fardy.
Thanks to Giselle and the staff at Caul’s for guiding us through this very difficult time.
Dad loved everything Disney and treasured his memories from family vacations there. To quote Winnie the Pooh “You may be gone from our sight, but you are never gone from our hearts”.
