Louise Steen December 14 2021

After a courageous battle, Mary-Louise “Louise” Steen (nee Lucas), of Alvinston, passed away peacefully on December 13th, 2021 at Bluewater Health Center in Sarnia, Ontario in her 67th year. She now watches over her husband Lyle Steen, her daughter Michelle Steen, her granddaughter Angela Steen, sister Joann Galbraith (late Jack Galbraith), brothers Jerry Lucas (Shirley Lucas) and Herb Lucas (late Martha Lucas) and sister Virginia Erikson (Robert Erikson) along with cherished nieces, nephews and friends. Louise grew up in the tiny town of Middlemiss, Ontario. She married her husband, Lyle, and together, they resided on their hobby farm in Alvinston for over 35 years. Louise loved spending time on the farm with the horses, fishing trips with her husband Lyle, and cheering on her granddaughter’s hockey teams over the years. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and reading books. Louise put up a courageous fight. She always kept a brave face and her sense of humour while she spent her final days surrounded by her family. The family would like to thank everyone who was involved in Louise’s journey. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bluewater Health Foundation (Oncology -Pharmacy Fund).
