Obituary
JACQUES, Rita Claudia – passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family at the Interim Long Term Care in Welland on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the age of 93 years. Survived by her loving children Ivan Jacques (Joanne), Carol Thompson (John), Lise Desmarais (Jean Claude) and Rita Breton (Gary Watson- deceased), adored grandchildren Johnny, Kelly, Robby (Jen), Tracy (Mark), Ivan, Barry (Dave), Corey (Amanda) and Cheri (Sabastien), cherished great grandchildren Ethan, Andrew, Ella, Alicia, Ivy, Brianna, Trenton, Layla, Nevaeh and Madden. Also survived by her sisters Doris Dostie and Yolande Labrie, brothers Norman and Lionel Boillard. Predeceased by her beloved husband Henry (2019), sisters Gerturude, Jeanne, Laurette, and her brother Maurice. Rita enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren, playing Bingo, shopping and puzzles. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
