You were my baby sister. You were the spark in all of life gatherings. A spark of hope, a spark of love and joy, a spark of gratitude. Your smile and song would spur on to great conversations of many memorable occasions.
This spark of yours didn’t come without your many tears. Your had tears of sorrow, tears in difficulty, tears of hope that lead you to tears of joy. Your tears never quenched your spark of love and good will for all people.
Dolores, you have sparked tears of many memories, good memories of time gone by. Yet even these tears of mine cannot quench the spark of joy you gave me. We will see you again. You will forever be in our memories, but we know when our God called you, you answered that call. That call sparked your heavenly feet, and as a child rushes into the presence of her much loved father, so to you rushed with no fear into the presence of your Saviour, the one you waited for so much.
My condolences to your kids, to us your family, to your friends, to all who knew your great heart. May our memory of you spark us on to remember you yes, but to walk with our Lord even more closely than before, as you demonstrated for all to see.
