BANICK, Idamay Dorothy – Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Queenston Place, Niagara Falls, ON, at the age of 97. Loving mother of Marie Warman of Niagara Falls, Bernadette Hamilton of Calgary Alberta and Arnold Banick of Niagara Falls. Adored grandmother of Barbara Lynn Hamilton, Daniel Wayne Hamilton, Wayne Banick, John Banick and great grandmother of Cedar Hamilton and Willow Tschetters. She leaves behind her dear brother Francis “Frank” Murray and dear brother and sister-in-law Lyle Murray and Joan Gray. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends both in Canada and the United States.
Under current pandemic conditions, provincial restrictions limit the number of guests at visitations, funerals and interments. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. All visitors must wear a face mask and practice physical distancing. Those who wish to attend the funeral must RSVP online through Idamay Banick’s obituary on Morse & Son Funeral Home’s website (www.morseandson.com). Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Church, 4673 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls, with interment at Fairview Cemetery to follow.
