Hill, Arthur “Bud”
“Our Hero went to his heavenly home to be with Jesus” at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, December 10, 2021 in his 91st year. Cherished husband of Audrey Hill. Treasured father of Cheryl (late Wally), Joe (Carolyn), Christine (Kevin) and Charlene (Vito). Also survived by 2 brothers Claude and Earl and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Arthur Hill, Helen Marlatt, sisters Norma, Rose and brothers Bruce, Jim, Bill, Fred and a grandson Jeremy. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 6, 1931. Bud worked for many years for the Town of Aylmer Works Department. Bud and Audrey enjoyed going on day trips together to visit family and friends. He was the kind of guy who went above and beyond for everyone. He loved giving back to his community by volunteering many years for the Meals on Wheels program through VON. He will be remembered for his funny one-liners and his love for others. A private family graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery.
