Obituary of Jacqueline Mourant
Jacqueline Mourant (nee Nault), aged 61 years, of Ste. Anne, MB., passed away at Ste. Anne Hospital on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
Jackie was born to Benoit & Reynalde Nault on October 16, 1960, in Ste. Anne, MB. She lived most of her life in Ste. Anne and spent twenty five years working for the Town/Village of Ste. Anne surrounded by family and friends. Mom showed excellent work ethic and was always ready to go the extra mile to help those in need. She was a huge part of the Roseau River first nations staying in Ste. Anne at the curling rink during the 1997 flood.
She loved gardening. Mom spent the last year involved in the flowers and gardens at the Villa – this was her passion. She also spent many afternoons with the “gang” feeding the squirrels peanuts on the deck. Mom always wanted to bake and cook for everyone and how can anyone forget her famous meatballs.
Mom lived with her sister Brigitte in Thompson for a year and a half. She was well loved and taken care. She found a new love for puppies, and created a special bond with Fin their dog. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.
Mom leaves to mourn her two daughters, Melanie and Angèle (Michael) and her two grandchildren Hudson and Rhémi, her ex-husband Gary of 25 years (1979-2004), her sister Brigitte (Johnny) and her three brothers, Gerald (Laura) Alain (Barbie) and Marc (Treena) and many nephews and nieces.
