Obituary of Therese Piche
Therese Piche, aged 88 years, of Ste. Anne, MB., passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Ste. Anne Hospital, Ste. Anne, MB.
She is survived by her beloved husband Jean, her daughter Colette (Rick), and four sons: Marcel, Rene (Dorothy), Roger and Michel.
She was predeceased by her daughter Suzanne.
Therese was born and raised in Dunrea, MB. She worked at St. Boniface Hospital and eventually moved to Ste. Agathe, MB., to start a family. In 1965, she moved to La Broquerie, MB., and settled down with her family on a dairy farm. In 1973, she married Jean Piche and continued farming in La Broquerie until retirement. She loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed country life. She always enjoyed family get togethers and Christmas gatherings with her children and their extended families.
She enjoyed baseball in her younger days. She enjoyed traveling with Jean to the west and east coast. She also enjoyed fine restaurants and loved going to the “Beachcomber” in Winnipeg. In retirement, she enjoyed seeing small town Manitoba.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. Please note: Capacity will be limited to 80 people. Masks are mandatory and proof of vaccination will be required upon entry. (Along with personal ID.)
