BURGOMASTER, Donald Maxwell peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday December 8, 2021 in his 80th year. Don was reunited with his sweetheart of 50 years, the love of his life, his beloved late wife Sharon on the anniversary of her death (December 8, 2016). Loving and dedicated father to Steven (Helen) and Heather Burgomaster. Forever cherished Poppa of Wyatt (Katie), Trent and Tyler Burgomaster. Son of the late William and Grace Burgomaster. Beloved Brother of Bill Burgomaster predeceased (Mary, predeceased), Doug Burgomaster predeceased (Doris), Reg Burgomaster (Vicki, pre-deceased) and Glen Burgomaster (Jennifer). Brother-in-law to Leslie Alton, Marsha Kilfoil and Michelle Acreman. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
Retired Millwright and Supervisor at GE Peterborough and Retired Pickseed Salesman.
57 years a Mason, Past Master of Lorne Lodge Omemee and Past DDGM.

50 year Charolais Breeder at Sharodon Farm Fowler’s Corners.
Former National First Vice President of Canadian Charolais Association and Honour Roll Inductee.
Livestock Judge, Auctioneer and active community and committee member with the Cattlemen’s Association, Lindsay Exhibition and Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
Former Triangle Sales Management Co-Owner and Business Partner of the late Larry Leahy.
Thank you to the PRHC Medical Team for their genuine care during Don’s final weeks. Special thanks the the A4 staff, the incredible D2 palliative team, Dr Mallory, Sherry Mossor and Jane Mark. Our Gratitude to Carrie Cleverdon and Tonia Barber for their end of life care. Special thanks to Dr Stoker for his medical care and support through the years.
