In loving memory of George William St. Amant, 79 years who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Joanie (Barnoski) St. Amant. Loving father of Brian (Carlie), Mark and Mandy (Mike Signoretti). Cherished grandpa of Jared, Steven, Lexie, Amber, Cooper, Leah and Gibson. Dear son of Herman and Bertha (Rivard) St. Amant both predeceased. Dear brother of Theresa Fletcher (Ammie predeceased), Roland (Alma) both predeceased, Bobby predeceased (Karen), Raymond, Ronnie, Tommy (Sharon) and Marlene Apperley predeceased (Rolfe Burger). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. George was an avid Montreal Canadiens Fan and Toronto Blue Jay Fan. He enjoyed many happy times at his camp in Britt where he often fished in Georgian Bay. He was devoted to his loving family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or the Health Sciences North Foundation – Cardiac Unit would be appreciated. Funeral Visitation at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 5-7pm. Cremation to follow.
