On Saturday, November 27th 2021, Nels (Nelson) Edward Taylor passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer, with his son by his side, at the age of 87.
Nels was kind, compassionate, courageous, brilliant, and hardworking soul. His love of cars lead him to pursue a passion as a master mechanic, rebuilding and restoring vintage cars.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving son, Kelly; grandchildren Rachel (Jordan), Melissa (Brian), Cody; great grandson, James along with multiple other extended family members and friend. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Roberta and daughter Lori.
The family would like to extend a thank Dr. Scully, the many doctors at the Cancer Clinic in Kelowna, as well as the doctors and nurses at KBRH for the care and compassion they exhibited in every interaction with Nels.
Cremation has taken place and a service will not be held. Andreas Schmitz of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
