George passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Health Science Centre, Winnipeg at the age of 52 years.
Predeceased by his parents Jonas & Victoria Whitford; sisters Annette and Jeanette; brothers Samuel, Mervin, Ralph, Maurice & Clifford.
He leaves to mourn his siblings Irene, Grace (Teddy), Frank (Marlene), Wallace, Marcella and Eugene.
George will be remembered for his many musical talents.
Wake will begin on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 4:00 PM at 131 South Boundary Road, Sandy Bay First Nation.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at 131 South Boundary Road, Sandy Bay First Nation with Father Leo Fernandes officiating. Interment will take place at Sandy Bay Cemetery.

  1. Condolences in hearing about George ! I met George a few years ago ! He came up north for a couple weeks with me to work in north ! In that couple weeks got to share with one another about life ! Found George a quiet man ! Condolences to his family !
