Inman-Kissack Jeanne Constance née Copeman December 4th 2021

Inman-Kissack, Jeanne Constance (née Copeman)
December 4th, 2021
Peacefully, at home with family, as she wished, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, Jeanne Inman-Kissack, of London, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Stewart Inman (1988) for 47 years, and the late Robert Kissack (2005) for 13 years. Loving mother of Janet, Robert (Susan), and Peter (Nancy). Adored grandmother of Nicholas (Katherine), Christopher John “CJ” (Kristina), Andrew (Ashley), Michael (Sherry), Laura (Bryan), and Alexander. Dear great-grandmother of Westley, Cayla, Sebastian, Gareth, Hannah, Theodore, Brooke, Abigail, and Claire. Beloved stepmother of Randy, Robin, Joel (Jeri), and Jeff; and loved step-grandmother of Jessica, Tyler (Caitlin), Marlie, and Ben. Predeceased by her daughter, Janet; and her siblings: Pauline, Marjorie, Phyllis, Evelyn, and Gordon “Pete”.
Jeanne was much admired and respected by all she met and loved. She worked in her young adult years for Eaton’s, in Hamilton, Ontario, hosting the radio station CHML Good Deed Club, until she married Stewart and moved to Toronto. The family moved to London in 1958. Over many years, she worked in a doctor’s office, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and for Oakridge Presbyterian Church – all in secretarial roles. She cared greatly for her family, and in particular, her husband Stewart, during his struggles with Multiple Sclerosis, and for her daughter Janet, with her many health problems. She greatly blessed and was loved by the Kissack family, all of whom felt the warmth of her love and encouragement. Jeanne cared deeply about family and friends in a quiet and unassuming manner. She was deeply loved and an inspiration at almost 100. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her abiding faith and enduring support to her family and friends will never be forgotten.
The family extends its thanks to the nursing and medical staff at University Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Nelson Chan and his home palliative care team, including the nurses provided by the VON Middle-Elgin, St. Elizabeth Health, the many personal service workers, and in particular, Laura, Lorraine, and Mars.
