Obituary of Bernice Lenore Cohoe
COHOE- Bernice Lenore (nee Brown) of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Ted Cohoe. Bernice is survived by her daughters Nancy (Barry) Cole, and Sharon Pfeffer of St. Thomas; by her grandchildren Adam Cole, Andrew Cole, Branden Cole, and Ben Pfeffer all of St. Thomas; by eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; her siblings Clara (late Ron) Cook, Skip (Jim) Brown, and Robert Brown (Karen). Predeceased by her siblings Russell Brown, Pauline (Ernie) Young, Vivian (Jerry) Powell, and Earl Brown. Bernice retired from the Treasury Department at City Hall. She enjoyed the time that she spent at her trailer in Lakewood and travelling with her daughters. The funeral service will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, donations in memory of Bernice to the March of Dimes Canada or the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy would be gratefully acknowledged.
