June 6, 1958 – November 27, 2021
Don aka “Bubba” passed away peacefully with his loving wife Anna and his close friends Aimee and Negene Cassanova by his side on Saturday November 27, 2021, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket at the age of 63. Devoted husband to Anna (nee Risi) for 19 fantastic years. Beloved Father of Leiha Poirier. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and Gordon Munroe and brothers, Blair Boudreau, and Roger Poirier. Survived and deeply missed by his sister Fern Poirier and brothers Reinee and Jerry Boudreau and their families. Cherished son-in-law of Angela and Silvio Risi and brother-in-law of Tony, Christine, Deanna, and Julia Risi.
He will be sadly missed by his extended family and many friends. Remembered for his joyful spirit and disposition.
As per Don’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
