Obituary for
Eileen Pearl Strickland
Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Eileen Pearl Strickland, age 90 of Hermitage, formerly of Stone Valley.
Eileen leaves to mourn her loving family: daughters, Mildred (Calvin Harris) at Hermitage, Marie (Dennis Newman) at Boyd’s Cove, Selena (Grant Rose) at Edmonton, AB and Ada (Guy Richard) at Black Falds, AB; son, Tony (Tracey) at Black Falds, AB; grandchildren, Carolyn, Scott, Ryan, Colin, Stephen, Chad, Vanessa, Doreen, Rolland and Matthew; thirteen great grandchildren; special care giver, Pansy Tibbo; special niece, Linda Kendell; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Bertram and other close relatives.
Visitation will take place at St. Saviour’s Haven at Hermitage on Wednesday, December 1 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Family Only) and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and, on Thursday, December 2 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. COVID-19 regulations will be followed.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville. COVID-19 regulations will be followed.
