Nancy Marie MacInnis 20212021

Nancy Marie MacInnis
2021-2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy
Marie (nee Scott) Macinnis on November 27th,
2021 at the Moncton Hospital. Born December
3rd, 1968, in Lasalle, Quebec, she was the
daughter of Suzanne Scott and the late David Scott.
Nancy will be dearly missed by her husband, the love of her
life, Steven MacInnis; step daughters; step granddaughters; brother
Eric; mother Suzanne; nephews Gabriel and Maxime, as well as nieces
Sophie and Marianne.
In addition to her father, Nancy was predeceased by her
brother Patrick; grandmother Lena, and Aunt Dorothy.
Nancy was a kindred spirit that was loved by everyone that
met her. That is why I fell in love with her from day one, May 1,
1998, and we never looked back. She loved interacting with people when
we went out. Also, we loved our nightly walks in Oromocto or going
deer watching on Base Gagetown, which we did faithfully at 7 pm
everyday during her cancer journey, she always kept her hopes
up.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the
intensive care unit of the Moncton Hospital, for their compassionate
care, to Dr. Bakanisi and his surgical teams for their care of Nancy.
Also, to Dr. Galvis of the oncology department of the Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, for helping through her chemo
treatments, your care and compassion toward Nancy and Steven will
forever be appreciated.
At Nancy’s request, her life will be celebrated at
a later date in Chateauguay, Quebec.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to
Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
