Obituary of Thomas House
Tom passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Victoria Hospital in London, on Sunday, November 28, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Thomas Earl House of Owen Sound, was in his 73rd year. Dearly loved husband of Helen (née Dowdell). Loving father of Heather House (Elaine Dunn), of Whitby and Dave House (Lisa), of Owen Sound. Proud grandfather of Luke and Noelle House. Dear brother of Janis Almond (Dave Miller), Art House (Betsy), Ted House (Dianne Sarson), Daryl House (Glenda), Bev House (Linda), Kathy Peters (Wayne), Kerry Keirstead and brother-in-law to Shirl Dowdell-Taylor. Tom will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Vera and Charles Keirstead and Earl House; his brother Larry Cranney. A Funeral Service will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Nicholas Forrester officiating. All attending the funeral service must wear a mask and show proof of double vaccination. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chapman House Hospice or the Grey Bruce Regional Hospital would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
