Floyd Edward Reed Jr.- age70 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He graduated from Central High School and attended University of Tennessee for college. He retired from Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He loved music, playing bridge, baseball, and all UT sports. His favorite MLB team was the Atlanta Braves, he attended summer camp games and as many season games as he could.
Preceded in death by his parents, Floyd E. Reed Sr and Goldie N. Reed. The family would like to thank three close friends, Terry Livingston, Steve O’Neal, and Michael Floan, who have been supportive through the years, and especially during his illness.
Family will receive friends 2:00-3:00pm, Tuesday, November 30, at Bridges Funeral Home, with his service to follow at 3:00pm, with Rev. John Holland and Rev. Toby Everett officiating. Immediately following the service family and friends will go to Greenwood Cemetery for an interment.
