Obituary of Diane Louise Lewis
Diane Louise Lewis, 75 of Digby, passed away on November 15, 2021 in the Digby General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Mailing) Handspiker.
Diane loved the water, and immensely enjoyed her time at the lake. She has left behind many great memories of waterskiing, swimming, and many weenie and marshmallow roasts on the fire. She loved knitting, being outside in the sun, taking many trips away with her husband, many treasured camping trips with the family. Diane also valued her time spent at the hunting camp, back in the woods, lots of great memories made. She also, loved her friends and enjoyed getting away with them, especially Leona, as they grew up together and were like sisters.
She will be missed dearly by all. Diane was loved by all and had a heart of gold.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Wayne Lewis; her three children, Brent (Norma), Michelle (Murray) Norquay, and Mark; grandchildren, Tyler, Makayla, Nicole, Smantha, and Codey; great-grandchild, Finely; and her very best friend, Leona Mosher.
In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by sister, Phyllis Handspiker; brothers, Larry and George Handspiker.
