Yvonne Mary Lloyd (nee
McConnell), 82, of Moncton, NB, passed away peacefully at home in the
early hours of November 23, 2021.
Yvonne was the kind of person
who had her own gravitational pull. She was spirited, vibrant, and was
friends with everyone who crossed paths with her. You couldn’t help
but be happy around her because she was positive, fun, and inclusive
of others. She was the first to get on the dance floor at a party,
broke out into spontaneous song when you least expected it, and she
brought out the best in others.
She loved music from an early
age and was passionate about sharing her gift of singing and piano
playing with her family, friends, and the community. She led Moncton’s
Rainbow Singers – a small group who
also had a love for music – and who performed at retirement
homes and in other community spaces in the area for several
years.
Yvonne’s light burned bright
every day she spent in this world and will continue to shine through
the mark she left on those around her. She will be
missed.

Yvonne is survived by her three
daughters, Janice, Denise (Sean), and Wendy (Rod); her five
grandchildren, Amie (Jeremy), Danny, Jordyn, Jeremy (Samantha), and
Kyle; and her three great grandchildren, Phoenix, Scarlett, and Dylan.
She is also survived by her pup, Mandy, by many of her siblings, her
siblings-in-law, her nieces, her nephews, other loving family, and her
circle of friends.
A joyous celebration of her life
will be held closer to her birthday in April
2022.
