ASPIN, William Ernest “Billy”

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of William Ernest Aspin aka “Billy” of Cornwall (born in Montreal), at the age of 69, following a courageous lengthy battle with Lung Cancer on November 16th, 2021. Son of Charles Aspin & Dorothy Aspin nee Jenkinson (Predeceased).
Leaving behind his loving wife of 46 years Katherine Aspin nee Taylor. Beloved daughters, Daina Aspin (Benson), Amanda Aspin (Guy) and one and only grandchild Kiersten Thibeault.
He will be greatly missed by his siblings Darlene, twin brother Bobby (Lou), Judy (Lorne), Winston, Jimmy & reunited with his sister Gail and brother Tommy.
He will also be deeply missed by many others, including nieces, nephews, family members, coworkers and friends.
Anyone who ever had the pleasure or honor of meeting him knows, that he was an amazing, strong, stubborn, take the shirt off his back kind of guy. He will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held at The Rendez-Vous Bar. 1213 Pitt St Cornwall Saturday Nov 27th from 2pm to 7pm. We ask that you bring your best and funniest memories with you.
