Audrey Alta Murray 1938 2021

Audrey Alta Murray (nee Ackles)
passed away peacefully on November 21st, 2021,
at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, in Fredericton NB. Born on July
15th, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Earl
and Emma (Brownell) Ackles, of Northport, NS.
Audrey was always very kind,
loving, outgoing, and loved people.
In her younger years, she was very
active and loved playing sports which included, baseball, bowling, and
clogging to name a few. She enjoyed any card game which included
45’s cribbage, and bridge. She also enjoyed going to Bingo
with Cyril. Audrey was a long-time employee of the Royal Bank in
Fredericton NB, before she retired in 1995.
She is survived by her sister
Jeanette Jackson of Amherst NS, her son, Ted Murray (Pam) of Corner
Brook NL, daughters Diane Fraser (Ken) of Northport NS, and Jean
Murdoch (Steven) of Fredericton NB, also, grandchildren; Larissa,
Laurel, Donald, Mark, Luke, Kendra, Shane, and great grandchildren;
Ethan, Cooper, Gray, and Markus, and many nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband
Donald Murray in 1985, dear friend and companion, Cyril Tobin in 2021,
brothers Mickey and Lornie and her sister, Elsie.
The family would like to thank Dr.
Amy Russell, along with her many other Dr’s, specialists,
nurses, extra-mural, paramedics, occupational and respiratory
therapists. The help mom received from them all was
phenomenal.
There will be no visitation by
Audrey’s request. Cremation has taken place under the care
and direction of Bishop’s Funeral Home. Interment will take
place on Friday, November 26th, 2021, at
Sunnybank Cemetery at 11AM. If you wish to make a donation in
Audrey’s memory, please do so to the charity of your choice.
