Passed away peacefully at the Palace LTC, Alexandria on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the age of 92. John Paul Larocque of Alexandria. Beloved husband of the late Catherine Wilhelmina Larocque (née Smith). Loving father of Pauline Toner (Drew), Fredissa Morphy (John), John Paul (Gwen), Terry (Diane), Janet Herbert (Vince), late Janice Larocque, Brenda Joan Larocque (Daryl Martin), André (Nicole) and Audrey Larocque. Predeceased by his parents André Larocque and Edith Deguire; siblings William Sauvé, Emile Sauvé, Alfreda Sauvé, Theresa Quesnel, Viateur Larocque, Antoinette Schell, Gerald Larocque and Henri Larocque. Dear brother Jean Bonhower. Also survived by 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As per John Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a burial of cremated remains will take place in the spring at Woodlawn cemetery, Cornwall. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to John Paul a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
