Passed away peacefully, at Hospice Prince Edward in Picton on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Sharon Ann Allen of Dorland at age 74. Beloved wife of 40 years to Charles Edward Allen. Dear mother of Pam Kent (Tony), Brian Shelley (Peggy) and Tammy Shelley, and step-mother to Kenneth Shelley (Kim). Loving grandmother of Cassandra (Erik), Jaina (Alex), Samantha (Kris), James (Kristy), Leah (Spencer), Savannah, Robert, Shaun, Heather and Tyler. Cherished great-grandmother to Lane, Wyatt, David, Franklin and Parker. Sister of Linda Morton (Tony), Richard Morton, and Lori Pinsent (John). Predeceased by Robert Shelley (first husband), William Morton (brother) and her parents Frank and Norene Morton. She will be deeply missed by many other family and friends. Sharon dedicated her life to helping others and was known for her kindness, generosity and her love of family. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Hannah Funeral Home in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Sunday December 5, 2021 from 1-3 pm. Masks and social distancing are mandatory. Memorial donations made to Hospice Prince Edward or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Cancer Clinic) would be appreciated.
