John ‘Patrick’ Martinus Lamphen December 19 1928 November 17 2021 (age 92)

Died peacefully on November 17th, 2021 at West Parry Sound Health Centre with his friend by his side.
Patrick has been reunited with beloved wife Ann, and their son, Martin Christopher who he missed terribly for many years. He will now be missed by his friends and acquaintances whose lives he touched in many positive ways with his kindness, quick wit, and good humour.
Patrick was born at Sabang, Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia), spent the second world war hiding from occupation soldiers in Amsterdam and came to Canada after liberation.
In Canada, Patrick married, started a family, and enjoyed a successful career in the financial services sector eventually retiring from a stock brokerage firm and moving to his cottage in Bracebridge.
Patrick was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus serving councils in Toronto, Bracebridge, and Parry Sound. He had several key positions, including District Deputy from 1992-1994.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bracebridge. Due to Covid restrictions, registration is required prior to attendance and can be done through the funeral home website below or by calling Reynolds Funeral Home at 705-645-2257. Private interment to take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to either Belvedere Heights Home for Aged belvedereheights.com/, Parry Sound or the West Parry Sound Health Centre www.wpshc.com/ to acknowledge the kindness and excellent care given to Patrick.
