Obituary of Nettie Peters
Peters, Nettie of Menno Lodge, Aylmer passed away at London Health Science Centre- Victoria Hospital on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was 67 years old. Beloved wife of Bill Peters of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer. Dear mother of Margie Gordon(Adam Gable) of Aylmer and Ben Peters of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Zach, J.J., Lily, Adam and Alex. Also survived by step-mother Maria, brothers Ben Giesbrecht, Isaac Giesbrecht(Ann), Abe Giesbrecht(Tina), Jake Giesbrecht(Susan), sisters Helen Thiessen(Isaac), Aggie Miller(Bill), Lisa Maudsley(Shawn) and Tina Giesbrecht(Dave), sisters-in-law Mary and Helen, brother-in-law Abe(Judy) and a number of nieces and nephews. Nettie was the daughter of the late Abe Giesbrecht and the late Agatha (Bueckert) Giesbrecht. Predeceased by brothers Peter and John Giesbrecht. Nettie was a devoted caregiver to her husband Bill for many years. Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren. Nettie was the greatest cook in the world and she loved her dog Taco. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on January 3, 1954. The private family funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. and will be available on livestream. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Visitation will be private.
