Norah Ryan Reynolds Tuesday November 16th 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mother and grandmother, on November 16, 2021, peacefully in her 92nd year. Devoted mother to Sheila Sheffield, Colleen Ryan and her husband Dave Jennings, Timothy Ryan, Cletus Ryan, Tara Ryan-Gaube, and her husband Oskar, and Shauneen Ryan. Loving Grandma to Amanda, Allie, Daniel, Ryan, James, Callum, Matthew, Olivia, Hannah, Megan, Aiden and Erika. Fondly remembered by her sisters Anne Marie Blonde and her husband Claire and Joan Pollock. Norah was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario where she married her husband, John, and raised her family. Dedicated daughter to her parents, Cletus and Mary Reynolds (nee Deighton), Norah is predeceased by her husband, John Ryan, sister, Sheila Gibbons and two brothers John and Micheal Reynolds. She loved to entertain her many friends and families, dancing the night away as she led the celebrations into the wee hours of the morning. She had an eye for fashion and was a gifted seamstress. She could be found at the Bridge table with her friends as easily as at the theatre enjoying the latest production. Nothing brought Norah more joy than when her family gathered together. She was fiercely dedicated to her convictions, respected for her devotion to Church and family, always the role model for Catholic values. Our lives are richer for having known her and dimmed with her passing.
For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home where friends may gather from 6-8pm Friday. Funeral mass at Christ the King Church, 30 Beech Street Sudbury. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Face masks mandatory.
