MCMILLAN, Kenneth Mark (Retired from the local 397 Carpenters Union)
Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, on Friday, November, 12, 2021 at the age of 64. Loving husband and best friend of Pauline McMillan (Nee: Scott). Loving father of Kimberly (David) Hartwick, Lisa McMillan (Jason Bruce), and Mark McMillan. Loving and adored Popa of Jesse, Josh (Sarah) and Jenna. Son of the late William McMillan and Wilma McCracken. Son-in-law to the late Francis and Annie Scott. Beloved brother of Linda Scott, Alvin, and Terry. Brother-in-law to the Scott family: Pat, Mary (Paul) O’Brien, Brian (Jill), Trish (Gene) McMahon, Leo, Joe (Deb) and the late Harold, Stella (Claire) O’Grady, Barb Leahy, Wayne (Bonnie), Dennie (surviving spouse Marion), and Tommy (surviving spouse Denise). Survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Long time best friend of Barrie and Mary Cooper. Kenny was a loving and genuine friend who was willing to help out a friend or family member. There are many homes in the family that Kenny had a hand building. Kenny loved watching the Toronto Blue Jays, visiting the slots or a hot cup of Timmy’s coffee. He was always up for a friendly chat with a neighbour or friend. Visitation will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Friday, DECEMBER 3, from 6-8 p.m. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Saturday, DECEMBER 4, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Proof of Full Vaccination & Photo I.D. Required. Aquamation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
