Obituary of Anne “Terry” (Bond) Wadden, Glace Bay
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Anne “Terry” Wadden, age 73 on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at her residence.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Bunny (Bates) Bond.
Terry was a faithful member of St. John’s Church, No. 2 and later St. Anne’s Church. She loved embroidering and swimming in her pool. Bur mostly, Terry will be remembered as a very compassionate lady who loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd, daughter, Janice Wadden (Casey), son, Gerald Wadden (Tammy), brothers, Keith (Bill), Bud Bond, four grandchildren, Corina (Clinton) who was more like a daughter, Taylor, Riley Wadden and Ainsley Marshe, three great grandchildren, Sterling, Lennon and Violet.
Besides her parents, Terry was predeceased by a grandson, Brady Marshe.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 at 10 am in St. Anne’s Church, Glace Bay followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Fr. Duaine Devereaux officiating.
Memorial donations in memory of Anne “Terry” may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Proof of Double Vaccinations & I.D. are required at the church. On line condolences to the family can be expressed at: www.vjmcgillivray.ca
