On November 7, 2021, Mr. George Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 59 years. He is survived by his 4 sons, Tyrone Whitford, Avery (Summer), Ellery & Johnny; 7 grandchildren, Xavier, Arabella, Avery Jr., Kylo, Conner, Madison Whitford & Trust Whitford; great-granddaughter, Taylen Whitford; brother, Andrew (Penella); sisters, Juanita, Rosalie (David), Mary Jane (Norris) & Verlyn (Donovon); aunties, Agnes Collins & Diana; uncles, Bill Heath, Jimmy (Darlene) & Walter (Cindy) Desjarlais; Godchildren, Aleiha & Jacob. George was predeceased by his wife, Teresa; parents, John M. & Marie; maternal grandparents, Hyacinthe & Theresa Desjarlais (nee Bighead); paternal grandparents, Clark & Flora Cardinal; maternal aunts & uncles, Bella, Julia, Matilda Collins, Albert Desjarlais, John Desjarlais, Lawrence Desjarlais, Annie Tourangeau, Jimmy Desjarlais, Madeline Heath & Deliha Desjarlais; paternal aunts & uncles, Alfred, Fred, Lucas, MaryJane Louis, Alice Steinhauer, Hazel Steinhauer & Rosalie. A Wake will be held on Sunday, November 14 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) at Manitou Kihew Arena, Saddle Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Manitou Kihew Arena, Saddle Lake.
