Gwendolyn’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gwendolyn Daphne Pinsent on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at her home in Cavendish with her husband of 63 years by her side.
Predeceased by her parents, Wilson and Pearl Chislett; infant brother, Clifford and infant sister, Rosalind.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband, Raymond Pinsent; son, Gary (Bev); daughters, Patricia (Jerry) Fost, Eunice Pinsent (Randy), and Nancy (Dave) Robinson; grandchildren, Michael (Candace) Pinsent, Amanda Pinsent (Matt), Amy (Jon) Hilliard, Andy (Jessica) Fost, and Ashley Power (Jared Drover); 10 great grandchildren; sister, Valerie Chislett; brothers, Eugene (Betty) Chislett and Edwin Chislett.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Warren’s Funeral Home on Sunday, November 14, 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. Masks will be mandatory.
A service to celebrate Gwendolyn’s life will be take place on Monday, November 15 at 2:00 pm from St. Andrew’s United Church, Whiteway with inurnment to follow at Cavendish United Cemetery. Service will be by invitation only, masks will be mandatory, and vaccine passport with photo ID will be required.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Gwendolyn’s memory may be made to the Cavendish United Cemetery Fund or to the Cancer Society (cancer.ca/en).
