In Loving Memory of Christine MacDonald (nee Lindsay) Larsen, 85 years. Peacefully, Thursday, November 11th, 2021, at her residence, with the love of her family surrounding her. Born in Scotland on December 13th, 1935, she was the beloved wife of Ronald Larsen. Loving mother of Gary Larsen (predeceased)(wife Kathy) and Janis Quenville (husband Jack). Cherished grandmother of Annie, Kate, Emma, Hilary, Carter, and Cameron, and great grandchildren Adriana, Sonny, Ares, and Kai. Dear daughter of Donald and Helen (nee Wintrup) Lindsay both predeceased. Dear sister of Margaret Pettigrew and predeceased by Ella, Alex, Donald, John, Catherine, Neil, Victor, Sheila, and Elisabeth. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Chris was proud of her city of birth, Edinburgh, Scotland. She came to Sudbury in 1958, where she married her husband Ron the same year. They founded Larsen Transfer Trucking in 1977. She enjoyed travelling, reading, and hosting large family gatherings. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021 at 11am. (Friends may gather after 10:30am. Facemasks are mandatory.)
