Overes Marjorie April 05 1942

MARJORIE LAVERNE OVERES, beloved wife of Hubert Overes, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the age of 79 years.

Besides her loving husband, Marjorie leaves behind her children: Ron (Kathy) Overes, Nancy (Rick) Stoperski, David Overes, Mark (Amy) Overes, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister Barbara (Mike) Credico and brother Ron (Audrey) King, both of Lethbridge, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents William & Elizabeth King of Lethbridge, her sister Jean Virginillo of McNally District, and her brother William King Jr. of Lethbridge.

Born in Lethbridge in 1942, Marjorie married her soul mate Hubert in 1964. Together, they raised their family of four children. Whether at home at or camping, her door was always open for friends and family, with a pot of coffee on and a deck of cards at the ready.  She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

A Private Family Memorial Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH on Friday, November 19, 2021 with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating.

Marjorie will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring with the date to be determined.
