We are saddened to announce the passing of Annabelle (Smith)
McLean of Upper Coverdale on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Lakeview
Manor. Born in Sus, she was the daughter of the late Albert and
Muriel (McGill) Smith.
Annabelle enjoyed knitting, cooking, and sewing, and could
often be found doing one of her favourite things – spending
time surrounded by nature with her husband of 68 years.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her 3 sisters. She
will be dearly missed by her husband Charles; daughter Beverly Poirier
(Gerry) of Saint John; sons Derrick (Emelda), Douglas (Carol, and Don
(Leslie), David (Paulette); sisters Joan, Florence, and Mary; brothers
Allen and Harley; grandchildren Tim, Natalie, Carrie, Leanne, Andrew,
Keith, Chris, Lori, and Tyler; as well as many nieces, nephews, and
great-grandchildren.
Her arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb’s
Funeral Home and Cremation Center 330 Whitepine Road in Riverview
(869-2007). A private graveside service will take place at Fernhill
Cemetery. Donations to Diabetes or the Alzheimer Society would be
