It is with great sadness that the family of Theresa Elizabeth Gilley announce her passing on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 91 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Tony Gilley (Betty), Ajax, Ont., Beverley Gilley-Yannuzzi (Luis), Bradford, Ont., Brian Gilley (Beverly), Fort McMurray, Alb. and Robert Gilley, Deer Lake; daughter-in-law Joan Gilley, Deer Lake; grandchildren: Shawn Janes (Allison), Craig Janes, Michael Gilley (Tamara), Catherine Gilley (Jason), Stephanie Gilley-Mercer (Paul), Matthew Gilley (Caitlin), Christina Gilley (Robert), Adam Yannuzzi, Nicole Gilley (Marlon), Paul Yannuzzi (Ryan) and Chantel Gilley; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Frances Jones; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James Gilley, daughter Mary Janes, son James Gilley Jr., brothers Clarence Hurley and Gerald Hurley. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 7-9 p.m. Due to Government Regulations face masks and Vaccine Passports required for entry. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Parish, Deer Lake with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted.
