Rhonda Mollons McCallum 2021

Rhonda Charmaine (Mollons) McCallum, age 66, of Loyola Crescent, Sydney, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, Rhonda was the daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Allen) Mollons.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jim McCallum; daughters, Tracy McCallum (Martin MacIsaac) and Melissa McCallum (Derrick Demone); son, David McCallum (Shauna), sister, Maureen (Dave) MacLellan; brothers, Dennis Mollons (Mary D.) and Kelly Mollons; five grandchildren, Callum, Carly and Grace Baldwin and Jackson and Tyson Demone; brothers-in-law, Bobby McCallum (Jackie), Howie McCallum (Louise) and Terry McCallum (Marlene).
Rhonda loved spending time with her grandchildren and walking with her buddy, Cooper. Those who knew her would agree that she hated the grocery store, never had time to counsel or chat and her culinary skills sucked, including biscuits, shortbread cookies and Rhonda burgers.
A sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses of the An Cala, Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Sunday, November 7 from 3-7 p.m. A private family service will be held and interment will take place in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date. Covid-19 protocol will be followed. Double vaccination, ID and masks are mandatory.
Memorials may be made to Palliative Care Unit or the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
