Obituary of Rudy Froese
With great sadness we announce the passing of Rudy Froese, on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the age of 85. He will be sadly missed by wife Mary, son Lyle and wife Trudy, son Gordon, son Allan and wife Marilyn, grandchildren Sam and Naomi, Ben, Jacob and Abby; sister Wanda; sister-in-law Susan Froese; brothers Victor and Lorena, Terry and Sue, Eric and Shirley; sister Lillian and Jack Timmer, and Arny and Erna and families. Rudy was predeceased by parents Peter and Tina Froese, brother-in-law John Janzen and brother Werner Froese. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at the Rosthern Mennonite Church, 3016 5th Street, Rosthern, SK. Viewing will take place at church prior to the service from 1-2pm. Seating is limited, please email funksfh@sasktel.net or call 306-232-5245 to reserve your spot. To watch the livestream of the service, please request to friend the Rosthern Mennonite Church Facebook page before Friday. The livestream link of the funeral service will be available on his obituary page. Interment will take place at Rosthern Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Disaster Services, 200-600 Shaftesbury Blvd. Winnipeg, MB R3P 2J1. Arrangements are entrusted to Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
