John David Charles Pearce Monday October 25th 2021

John David Charles Pearce, b. March 3rd, 1948, passed away, peacefully in Ottawa, on Monday, October 25th at St.-Vincent Hospital following a long and difficult illness.
Beloved son of the late Eldridge Pearce and Patricia Pearce Dalgetty; David will be sadly missed by his brother Stuart Pearce (Andrea); sister Lynn Delgaty (Kie); nephews Sean Pearce and Michael Delgaty, nieces Heather Pearce and Kiera Delgaty Pak and grand nieces: Mei-ling, Lia and Oriana.
David was a kind, gentle soul, concerned for the well being of those around him yet, seldom complained about the complex mental and physical challenges which he, himself, lived with every day. He was a sensitive individual who found peace and fulfillment in his faith, his music and his art. He was loved and respected by all those who knew him.
The family would like to acknowledge the incredible care, compassion and support that David has received throughout the years from Ottawa Salus, the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre and more recently, St.-Vincent Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health are sincerely appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of John David Charles Pearce Monday October 25th 2021..
