Obituary of Adriana Peluso
Adriana was from the island of Ponza, Italy. Her family immigrated to Montreal, Quebec when she was 17 years old. She met and married the love of her life Frank Peluso on May 14, 1966. They moved to London, Ontario in 1979. She worked as a seamstress most of her life.
She and dad enjoyed travelling and dancing together. She loved to sing with St. Mary’s choir and often sang at other special events.
Beloved mother to Stephanie (Peluso) and Steve Vukovic, Aniello Peluso and Paula Almeida. Nonna to August, Andrew and Mason Vukovic, Daniella and Sarah Peluso.
Sister to the late Giuseppina (late Ernesto) Mazzella, Clara (late Joe) Romano.
Sister-in-law to Gavino and Sistina Peluso, Stefano and Lina Peluso and Michele Peluso. Aunt and great aunt to several nieces and nephews in both London and Montreal.
Always cherished and never forgotten.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, October 29th from 3-5 and 7-9 o’clock. (1/2-hour increments). Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Saturday, October 30th at 10 o’clock. Registration is required for both visitation and Mass. Please email donohue@donohuefuneralhome.ca with all names, phone numbers and time preference. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations in Adriana’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
