Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Issie Elman. Dear daughter of the late Louis and the late Annie Goldberg, and daughter-in-law of the late Lizzie and the late Nathan Elman. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Carol Elman and John King, Robyn and David Wilkenfeld, the late Sharyn and Harvey Finkelberg (Linda). Cherished Bubby of Melissa and Sean, Chris, Sean; Victor, Daniel; Natalie and Erik, Breanne and Spencer, Jory; Jeremy and Seema, Joni and Mike, Erica and Mark, Molly and Brent; proud great-grandmother. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Norman and Rose Goldberg, the late Rhoda and the late Archie Gordon. Dovie will be missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. She lived with the devastating effects of Alzheimers in her final years and through it all her dignity, grace and beautiful smile shone through.
Private service will take place. Shiva private. Special thanks to Dr. Kris MacMahon and the fourth floor staff at Maimonides Geriatric Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
