Beverly “Chris” Christena (née Haldenby) Brandt, of Cornwall, and formerly Kincardine, passed away at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, Cornwall, on Sunday, January 17th, 2021 in her 93rd year.
Loving wife of the late John Brandt (2008).
Beloved mother of Sandra Lewis, Susan (Jack) Huntington and Rod (Allayne) Brandt.
Cherished grandmother of Michael Lewis and Spencer Huntington and great-grandmother of Alex, Liam and Brock Lewis.
Survived by her brothers Barnard (Tina) Haldenby and Gayle (Marlene) Haldenby and sister-in-law Erlma Jean Haldenby.
Predeceased by her parents Roy and Hannah (née Petteplace) Haldenby, grandson Christopher Lewis, son-in-law Rick Lewis, sisters Clara Dahmer, Pat Marshall and Millie McCreight and brothers Fred, Glen, Roy and Victor Haldenby.
Due to provincial restrictions a private family funeral service will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine with Rev. Gord Dunbar officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Knox St. Paul’s United Church, Cornwall or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
