Bernard Lavallee 2021

Bernard Lavallee
1939-2021
Bernie’s final goodbye came in the early morning of Tuesday, October 12, of 2021 leaving his devoted and loving wife Marlene, daughter Joanne and son Marc. He leaves one brother, Normand and many close relatives and treasured friends.
A man of commitment and a winning personality he fought a brave and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease and its related issues.
Bernie was born in Westlock, Alberta and began his elementary education in Morinville followed by five years at College St. Jean in Edmonton. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa and his law degree from the University of Alberta. He joined the law firm of MacDonald Spitz and later formed a partnership with Donald Buchanan to form the law firm Lavallee Buchanan. Following this was a partnership with Karen Rackel to form the law firm Lavallee Rackel until he retired in December, 2008.
He was then able to devote full time to his passion for golf at the Edmonton Country Club and ten winter seasons of golf in Phoenix.
Under present Covid-19 restrictions there will be a private family celebration of Bernie’s life.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Bernard Lavallee 2021..
