On October 10, 2021 Charles Frederick Lemmon 82, passed away unexpectedly in Peterborough Ont; his place of residence for 30+ years.
Charlie had been a dedicated long time employee for Corrections Canada. He enjoyed working at many different institutes until his final retirement in 1995.
Charlie will also be remembered by his many friends and family as well as band members from his life long years of performing on stage. He was a very talented guitar player and sang at many Hotels, Bluegrasses and other functions throughout his life, meeting many friends along the way.
Charlie was a very strong and caring person who was never afraid to help some in time of need. He always had a listening ear whether you were a stranger or a friend. He was also a very humble man who loved to tell stories of his past.
Charlie is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Serena Lemmon as well as his brother George. Charlie will be very sadly missed by his wife and soul mate Mary. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his children Richard (Tammy), his step children Tracy (Lance), Stephen (Collette), Alex as well as Robert and Rosemary (Scott). All of Charlies grandchildren and many nieces and nephews will always hold a special place in their hearts for Charlie. He had such a positive impact on all of their lives.
