Joseph Edward “Eddie” LeBlanc
1953-2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of J.
Edward “Eddie” LeBlanc on October 10, 2021, at the Dr.
Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on May 18, 1953, he was the son of
Alyre and the late Cerita (Saulnier) LeBlanc.
Eddie was a proud member of the Lions Club, as well as a Boy
Scouts and Cadet Leader. Early in Eddie’s career, he worked
as a heavy equipment operator for Georgia Pacific. He later opened his
own business called Ed’s Auto Parts in McAdam, NB, which he
loved. In 2019, Eddie put his tools up at work, retired and found a
love for traveling with his wife, Carol. He had a passion for camping,
being in his RV and traveling to meet new people, driving his boat and
motorcycle, cooking and carpentry. The remarkable deck that he built
at home for Carol, shows his carpentry passion and talent. It comes to
no surprise that Eddie was a “Jack of All Trades, Master of
None” and loved talking to everyone. Most important of all
though, Eddie loved spending time with all of his family, especially
Carol and his children.
He will be greatly missed by his spouse Carol Anne (Caldwell)
LeBlanc; children Krista and Trever LeBlanc; grandchildren Jasmine,
Desmond, Hailey and Dustin LeBlanc; great grandchild Luke LeBlanc;
adopted children Jesse and Samantha (Brandon) LeBlanc, and her
children Patrick, Xavier, Zander, Theo and Isaac; father Alyre; sister
Zena MacMaster (Glen); brothers-in-law Terry and Warren;
sisters-in-law June, Gail, Laurie and Crystal; his cat Precious, as
well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his mother Cerita, Eddie was predeceased by
his brother-in-law Danny.
Due to the current health restrictions, a service will be
held at a later date. For those who wish, donations in
Eddie’s memory may be made to Crohn’s and Colitis
Canada or the McAdam Lions Club.
