Joyce Smith
1948-2021
Following a brief illness, Joyce Thelma Smith of Perth-Andover, NB,
passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October
8, 2021.
Joyce was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on August 30, 1948. She was the
daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Leathway) Lovely. Joyce leaves
behind her loving husband of 57 years, Dalton Smith; her daughters,
Rose Hamilton of Perth-Andover, NB, and Tammy Bourgoin (Robert) of
Arthurette, NB; her sons, Gerald Smith (Amy) of Beaconsfield, NB, and
Daren Smith (Cindy) of Hartland, NB; ten grandchildren and thirteen
great grandchildren; her sisters, Marie Murphy (Mike) of Fredericton,
NB and Bonnie Smith of Perth-Andover, NB.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Linda Lovely,
Sharon Lovely, Margaret Lovely, Ruth Nowland, Judy Sargefield, Lavada
Johnston, and Anita Holmes.
A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held on Saturday, October 23,
2021 at 1 pm at Larlee Creek Cemetery. Rev. Todd McGuire
officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
would be appreciated by the family.
