Obituary
Reg passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday Oct 6th, 2021, at the age of,80 years. He was born Sept,20, 1941 at the Head of Millstream, NB to the late Arthur and Helen (Hayes) Cosman.
Reg was the loving husband for 44 years to the late Rita A Cosman. He is survived by his sons Rick (Cheryl) Cosman and Kenny Cosman; stepdaughter Kim (Fred) Steeves; grandsons as well as granddaughter’s; several great grandchildren; brother Bert (Velma) Cosman,, sister Eileen; nieces, nephews and friends and special friend Ruth Atwell.
Reg worked at Eastern Bakeries for a number of years he then went on to work for Hostess and Frito Lay Potato Chips now know as Lays, he retired after 30 years with that company. Following his retirement, he returned home to Millstream and worked the Farm that he loved so dearly.
One thing about REG; he was known all over the city as well as outside the city as he spent must of his time working in these areas. Reg could tell you where every store that ever was on the corner of streets, he knew them all so well.
Reg was predeceased by his loving wife Rita; his parents; son Ronald Cosman; stepson Kevin Gregg; grandsons Karac Cosman and Dustin Cosman and his sister Elva Hutchins
At Reg’s request there will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) Following cremation a graveside service will be held at the Head of Millstream Union Cemetery, Route 880 Head of Millstream (Next to Head of Millstream United Baptist Church) on Wednesday October 6th, 2021at 11:00 a.m. where Rita and Reg will be laid to rest.
