It is with sadness the family of Eileen McEwen announces her passing on October 3, 2021 at the age of 87 at Strathroy Middle General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Ernest McEwen (2014). Loving mother of Karen (Wayne) Dixon, Kathy (late Lawrence; 2014) Zavitz and Mary McEwen. Proud grandmother of Melissa Zavitz (Elijah Bailey) and Sarah Dixon (Braeden Burrows).
Predeceased by her siblings Alex (Ella) Thompson, Albert (Audrey) Thompson and Helen (Merlin) Clark (Lloyd Mitchell).
Survived by her brother-in-law Arthur McEwen (late Donna) and her sister-in-law Winnafred McEwen (late Douglas). Eileen will be sadly missed and remembered by her extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021 from 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery.
