Obituary of Richard Joseph Lacroix
It is with great sadness that the family announces Rick’s peaceful passing at the Welland Hospital on September 29, 2021 in his 63rd year. Loving father of Samantha Kendrick (Zach), Eric (Christine), Austin and dear grandfather of Caleb, Jude and Ryker.
Rick is survived by his siblings Alain (Fran), Lionel (Kim), Mignonne Lacroix-Hagar and Rachel Robertson (Blake). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alderic and Marie Laure Lacroix, and by his sister Lucille.
Rick is fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, the fun uncle, and the silly pépère. He had a knack for fishing, played a mean guitar, cheered for the Jays, and stood by the Habs. He is greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A private family service will be held in the Armstrong Chapel. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
