Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Brian Conway, husband of Elaine Elizabeth Conway, wish to announce his passing, which occurred on September 28, 2021, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on December 27, 1951, he was the son of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Rossley) Conway.
Thomas retired as a Sergeant with the Canadian Armed Forces Infantry. He was employed with the Corps of Commissionaires for a number of years.
Besides his wife Elaine, he is survived by his daughters: Crystal (Troy) and Tamara, son, Thomas, grandson Dylan, special uncle, Victor Rossley, brothers-in-law; Ken Ryder, Frank Ryder (Sharon), Don Ryder (Joan), sisters-in-law; Judy Ryder and Kathy Ryder, special-friend Lorna, along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his fur babies Caissie, Chance, Poppy, Darby, Tobi and Bandit.
Besides his parents Harold and Elizabeth, he is predeceased by his brothers; Jimmie and Robert, his sister Mary Lou, brothers-in-law; Thomas Ryder, Glen Ryder, Roger Ryder and Jim Charlton, and sister-in-law Marilyn Kiernan.
The family wants to extend a special thanks for the care and compassion Tom received from his family doctor, Extra Mural and the doctors and nurses of Palliative Care.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, (646-2424). The cremation has taken place and once COVID 19 Pandemic restrictions relax the family will plan a funeral service. Remembrances made to the Animal Rescue League SPCA or the local food banks would be appreciated.
